Job summary

TeacherActive in Sutton Coldfield is recruiting a Level 2 SEND LSA for a full-time, long-term post starting in September. You will support pupils with a range of complex needs, including PMLD, SLD, and communication difficulties, helping them access learning in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting children with SEND in a school or specialist setting.
• Knowledge of supporting pupils with EHCPs and complex needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of needs including PMLD, SLD and complex needs in and out of the classroom.
• Work closely with teaching staff to provide high-quality support.
• Assist with transitions and classroom activities to promote inclusion.
