Job summary

TeacherActive is recruiting a Level 2 SEND LSA for a long-term, full-time role in Sutton Coldfield to commence in September. The position supports pupils with diverse needs, including PMLD and SLD, within a primary SEND setting.

You will work closely with teaching staff to provide high-quality support in and out of the classroom, ensuring a positive, inclusive learning environment for every child.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with SEND in a school or specialist setting.
• Knowledge of EHCPs and a range of complex needs.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Patient, caring and proactive approach.
• Genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with a range of needs in and out of the classroom.
• Work closely with teaching staff to provide high quality support.
• Contribute to creating an inclusive learning environment.
• Assist with safeguarding and DBS compliance as required.
