Job summary

Supply Desk is seeking a dedicated Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in the Watford area. You will work alongside teachers and the SEN department to provide tailored support for pupils with diverse learning needs, helping them engage and achieve goals.

The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 TA qualification, have experience in education and SEN, and demonstrate strong communication, safeguarding commitment, and a passion for inclusive learning.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification essential.
• Experience supporting children with SEN in education.
• Strong safeguarding understanding and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted support for pupils with SEN.
• Work one-to-one and in small groups.
• Assist pupils in accessing learning activities.
• Support positive behaviours and emotional wellbeing.
• Observe and contribute to pupil progress records.
• Collaborate with teachers, SENCOs, and parents.
• Adapt learning approaches to individual needs.
• Foster independence and confidence.
• Help maintain a safe, inclusive classroom.
