Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant for a vibrant special needs school in Wythenshawe. You will support students with complex needs, assist with lesson delivery, and promote communication and social skills in an inclusive setting.

Ideal candidates may hold Level 3 TA qualification or have SEN/SEND experience. Commitment to safeguarding and ongoing training is essential. Competitive pay and flexible contracts available.

Qualifications

• Ideal: Level 3 TA qualification; not essential if SEN/SEND experience
• Compassionate, patient, with a passion for supporting young people with special needs
• Experience in special schools or with SEN in other settings
• Strong communication skills and proactive attitude
• Willingness to learn and participate in ongoing training and development

Responsibilities

• Support students with a range of special educational needs in the classroom and through personalised learning
• Assist teachers in the preparation and delivery of lessons and learning activities
• Promote independence, communication, and social skills
• Provide emotional and behavioural support
• Help create a safe, inclusive, and inspiring learning environment
