Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting a Level 3 SEN Teaching Assistant for a specialist setting in Chesterfield. You will support pupils with severe and complex needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis, helping them access learning and develop communication and independence.

The role requires a patient, nurturing approach, resilience, and the ability to work closely with teachers and therapists within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
• Experience supporting pupils with severe, profound or complex SEN.
• Ability to work with pupils requiring high levels of adult support.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with severe SEN.
• Assist learning, communication and development.
• Remain calm and nurturing throughout the day.
