Job summary

Monkey Puzzle Guildford is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner (Level 3 or above) to join their team. You will provide high-quality care and early years education in line with EYFS, supporting the nursery to grow and perform to a high standard.

The role requires GCSEs 5-9 and a full Level 3 in Early Years, with safeguarding knowledge. The salary starts from £29,120 per annum and benefits include service recognition, enhanced maternity pay, Medicash, YuLife, Refer a Friend, Flexible Working

Qualifications

• GCSEs 5–9 / A–C grades
• Full and relevant Level 3 in Early Years
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and good behaviour management
• Ability to observe and assess child development
• Strong communication with children and adults

Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard in line with EYFS
• Create inspiring and safe learning environments for children
• Ensure safeguarding and welfare of children
• Implement EYFS with understanding of child development
• Report concerns to senior team or services
• Work with parents and partners to help children thrive
• Maintain a positive attitude with staff, children and visitors
