Qualifications

• GCSE grades 5-9 / A-C required.
• Full and relevant Level 2 in Early Years preferred.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 preferred.
• Paediatric First Aid beneficial.
• Safeguarding knowledge essential.

Responsibilities

• Support the nursery to grow and perform at a high standard, adhering to EYFS frameworks and legislation.
• Create inspiring, creative learning environments to meet children's needs.
• Ensure safety and welfare through safeguarding knowledge and procedures.
• Implement EYFS with understanding of child development.
• Report issues of concern to a senior team member.
• Work in partnership with parents and partners to help children thrive.
• Maintain a positive attitude with children, parents, colleagues and visitors.
