Job summary

Milk Education is working in partnership with a welcoming nursery in Bensham, Gateshead, to appoint a Level 2 or Level 3 Qualified Early Years Assistant from September. This role offers flexible shift work between 8:00am and 6:00pm, Monday-Friday, with an hourly pay of £16.50 and the chance to support young children in a safe, nurturing setting.

Applicants must have a recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification and live locally to Gateshead.

Qualifications

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Recent experience working with children in an Early Years, nursery or similar setting.
• A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach to supporting young children's development.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
• Must live locally to Gateshead - no relocation.
