Tradewind Recruitment LTD is seeking a Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a primary school in Leigh. This is a full-time, 12-month maternity cover starting October 2026, with a daily rate of £110.

You will work closely with the class teacher to support the EYFS curriculum and learning environment. The ideal candidate will hold a Level 3 Childcare qualification, have EYFS/Nursery experience, and demonstrate patience, energy and strong communication with children, staff and parents.

Qualificações

• Level 3 Childcare qualification or equivalent.
• Experience in EYFS or Nursery settings.
• Enhanced DBS via Update Service or willingness to apply.
• Legal right to work in the UK.

Responsabilidades

• Support child-initiated play and deliver adult-led activities aligned with EYFS.
• Observe and assess children's development and track progress milestones.
• Foster a warm, inclusive classroom atmosphere.
• Assist with outdoor play, creative arts, phonics and number work.
• Manage personal care with dignity and respect.
