Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is seeking a Level 3 EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a Greenwich primary school. You will support children in Nursery or Reception and help them develop early literacy, phonics, numeracy and social skills.

Work closely with the class teacher to create a nurturing environment, support routines and resources, and help children build confidence and independence in a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 EYFS qualification required.
• Experience in an early years or primary school setting.
• Nurturing, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting children through play-based learning and structured activities.
• Helping pupils develop early literacy, phonics, numeracy and communication skills.
• Supporting personal, social and emotional development.
• Encouraging independence, confidence and positive relationships.
• Assisting with classroom routines, resources and the wider learning environment.
• Working alongside the class teacher to provide effective support for all pupils.
