Job summary

Randstad UK is recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner in Forest Row, East Sussex. This full-time, permanent role offers Monday to Friday, 08:00–18:00, and a competitive hourly rate of £14–£16.

You will hold a Level 3 Childcare / Early Years qualification, be proficient with the EYFS, and have an Enhanced DBS. You’ll welcome children and families, plan activities, support routines, and safeguard learners. Join a supportive team with CPD and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Level 3 childcare/early years qualification required.
• Experience in a UK nursery or early years setting.
• Knowledge of EYFS framework and safeguarding guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Welcoming children and families; managing morning handovers.
• Delivering EYFS learning activities indoors and outdoors.
• Observing, tracking milestones, and maintaining learning journals.
• Supporting meals, hygiene, naps, and routines.
• Upholding safeguarding standards and daily risk assessments.
• Communicating with parents and team about the day.
