Job summary

Randstad Education in Horley seeks a qualified Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for a permanent, full-time role. You will plan and deliver EYFS activities and serve as Key Person to a small group, tracking progress and supporting each child's development.

Hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday, with safeguarding duties. Competitive salary based on experience, paid annual leave, a workplace pension, and ongoing professional development opportunities. Start date ASAP.

Qualifications

• Possess a full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE Level 3, or equivalent).
• Proven experience working within a nursery setting.
• Excellent knowledge of the EYFS, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for early childhood education.
• An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service, or a willingness to undergo a new DBS application prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities inline with the EYFS framework.
• Act as a Key Person to a group of children, tracking their progress and supporting their individual development.
• Build strong, professional relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating environment that supports child-led learning.
• Adhere to all safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
