Tiny Tots Recruitment is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner for an early years setting near Thirsk. You will help children settle in, encourage new skills and make learning enjoyable.

Your role includes planning activities, supporting communication and independence, observing development and sharing progress with families, while maintaining a safe and stimulating environment with colleagues.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years qualification is required.
• Knowledge of EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
• Warm, patient manner with good communication.

You'll play an important part in children's daily experiences, helping them feel settled, encouraging new skills and making learning enjoyable.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Planning and delivering activities in line with the EYFS.
• Supporting children's communication, confidence and independence.
• Observing development and identifying next steps.
• Meeting individual care needs and supporting daily routines.
• Sharing updates with parents and carers.
• Working with colleagues to maintain a safe, stimulating environment.

About you:

• A full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Knowledge of the EYFS, safeguarding and child development.
• A warm, patient manner.
• Good communication skills and a reliable approach.
