Job summary

Tiny Tots Recruitment is seeking a Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join an early years setting near Garstang. You will support children's learning through play, deliver EYFS-aligned activities, and help create a safe, nurturing environment for every child.

Applicants should hold a Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification, understand EYFS and safeguarding, and communicate effectively with colleagues and parents. DBS checks and references are required.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years qualification.
• Understanding of the EYFS and safeguarding.
• A warm, patient and enthusiastic approach.
• Good communication skills and a willingness to work closely with colleagues.
• Commitment to providing high-quality care for every child.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS).
• Support children’s learning, development and emotional wellbeing.
• Observe children’s progress and plan appropriate next steps.
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers.
• Support daily routines and individual care needs.
• Maintain a safe, clean and stimulating environment.
• Follow safeguarding and nursery policies.
