Job summary

Randstad Education is recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our Horley setting. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and Early Years activities for children aged 0-5, under EYFS guidelines.

This full-time role runs 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, five days a week, in a warm, supportive team. A qualified Level 3 in Early Years/Childcare with safeguarding knowledge is essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification required.
• Experience in an EYFS nursery setting.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person for a designated group of children.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities per EYFS.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and safeguarding.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Support daily nursery routines including meals, rest and outdoor play.

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our friendly, supportive team in Horley. Employment Details:

• Location: Horley, Surrey
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person to a designated group of children, tracking their progress and supporting their individual development.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding across the setting at all times.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues through clear communication.
• Assist with day-to-day nursery routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and outdoor play.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Proven experience working within an EYFS nursery setting.
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection guidelines.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).
