Job summary

Randstad Education in Horley is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a welcoming team caring for children aged 0-5. You will plan and deliver EYFS activities, support individual development as a Key Person, and uphold safety, hygiene, and safeguarding standards.

The role requires a qualified Level 3 Early Years / Childcare practitioner with EYFS experience and a willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check prior to starting. A supportive environment and ongoing CPD are offered.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification.
• Proven experience working within an EYFS nursery setting.
• Excellent knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child protection guidelines.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).

Employment Details:

• Location: Horley, Surrey
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person to a designated group of children, tracking their progress and supporting their individual development.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding across the setting at all times.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues through clear communication.
• Assist with day-to-day nursery routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and outdoor play.

Qualifications

• Qualification: Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Proven experience working within an EYFS nursery setting.
