Job summary

Randstad Education in Horley, Surrey, is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a warm EYFS setting for children aged 0-5. The role is full-time, on-site, with a supportive team and opportunities to develop professionally.

You will act as a Key Person, deliver age-appropriate activities aligned with EYFS, maintain high safeguarding standards, and work closely with parents and colleagues. DBS required or willing to obtain one.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Proven experience working within an EYFS nursery setting.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one prior to starting).

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person to a designated group of children, tracking their progress and supporting their individual development.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding across the setting at all times.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues through clear communication.
• Assist with day-to-day nursery routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and outdoor play.

• Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
