Job summary

Randstad Education in Horley, Surrey, is recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to support children aged 0-5 in a warm, safe environment. The role is full-time, five days a week, with hours from 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM.

You will act as a Key Person, plan engaging EYFS activities, ensure safeguarding, and collaborate with parents and staff to provide a nurturing setting and smooth daily routines.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent).
• Experience in an EYFS nursery setting.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and child protection awareness.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person for a group of children, tracking progress and supporting development.
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate learning activities aligned with EYFS.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and safeguarding.
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers and colleagues through clear communication.
• Assist with daily nursery routines, including meals, rest and outdoor play.

• Assist with day-to-day nursery routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and outdoor play.

Qualifications
