Randstad Education is recruiting a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a Horley setting. You will be responsible for acting as a Key Person, planning EYFS-aligned activities, and ensuring safety and safeguarding across the day.

The role requires a Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification, EYFS experience, and a willingness to obtain an enhanced DBS check. Strong communication and teamwork are essential in this welcoming team.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, CACHE, or equivalent) is required.
• Proven experience working in an EYFS nursery setting.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and child protection procedures.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) prior to starting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person to a designated group of children, tracking their progress and supporting individual development.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and safeguarding at all times.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues through clear communication.
• Assist with day-to-day nursery routines, including mealtimes, rest periods and outdoor play.

Employment Details:

• Location: Horley, Surrey
• Schedule: Full-time, 5 days per week
• Hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
