Job summary

Randstad Education in Horley, Surrey, is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join a dedicated Early Years team. You will be the Key Person for a small group, supporting children aged 0-5 with play-based learning in a warm, safe environment.

Hours are 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM, full-time across five days. The role emphasizes safeguarding, EYFS-aligned activities, strong communication with families, and ongoing CPD in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• Qualified Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification.
• Proven experience in an EYFS nursery setting.
• Enhanced DBS check or willingness to obtain one before starting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person to a designated group of children, tracking their progress and supporting their individual development.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning activities aligned with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
• Ensure high standards of safety, hygiene, and safeguarding across the setting at all times.
• Build strong, positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues through clear communication.
• Assist with day-to-day nursery routines, including mealtimes, rest periods, and outdoor play.
