Job summary

Monarch Education are supporting a nursery in Coventry to recruit a Level 3 Nursery Nurse for a full-time, Monday–Friday role. Immediate start with ongoing work until at least Christmas 2026, potential extension. Daily rate is competitive and experience-dependent.

The role focuses on EYFS development, safeguarding, and building strong relationships with children and families in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification is required.
• Previous nursery/early years experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of EYFS framework is expected.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach with safeguarding focus.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s learning and development in line with EYFS.
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment.
• Build positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Encourage social, emotional and communication skills.
• Plan and deliver engaging activities with the nursery team.
• Assist with personal care where required and observe progress.
• Maintain safeguarding and wellbeing standards at all times.
