Job summary

Monarch Education are supporting a nursery in Coventry to recruit a Level 3 Nursery Nurse for a full-time, Monday–Friday role. Immediate start with ongoing work until at least Christmas 2026, potential extension. Daily rate is competitive and experience-dependent.

The role focuses on EYFS development, safeguarding, and building strong relationships with children and families in a supportive setting.

Qualifications

• A full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification is required.
• Previous nursery/early years experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of EYFS framework is expected.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
• Caring, patient and enthusiastic approach with safeguarding focus.

Responsibilities

Level 3 Nursery Nurse (Full-Time) | Coventry | Immediate Start

Monarch Education are currently working with a warm, welcoming, and highly regarded nursery setting in Coventry, who are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic Level 3 Nursery Nurse to join their team on an ongoing basis.

This is a full-time, Monday to Friday, starting as soon as possible and continuing until at least Christmas 2026, with the potential to be extended. The nursery prides itself on creating a nurturing, child-centred environment and has built a strong reputation for its supportive leadership team and friendly staff.

Pay: Competitive daily rate, dependent on experience

Responsibilities include:

• Supporting children’s learning and development in line with the EYFS framework
• Creating a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment
• Building positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Encouraging children’s social, emotional, and communication skills
• Planning and delivering engaging activities alongside the nursery team
• Supporting children with their personal care needs where required
• Observing, monitoring, and recording children’s progress
• Maintaining high standards of safeguarding and wellbeing at all times

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• A full and relevant Level 3 Childcare Qualification
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting children’s welfare
