Job summary

Step Teachers Ltd in Swindon is seeking a Level 3 Nursery Assistant for a full-time, long-term role with an immediate start in a thriving primary school with nursery provision. The school serves children aged 2–11 and sits within a supportive multi-academy trust.

You will support children in line with the EYFS, help plan engaging activities, and support progress while upholding a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent) is essential.
• Previous experience in a nursery or Early Years setting.
• Strong understanding of the EYFS Framework.
• Knowledge of child development and early learning practices.
• Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.

Responsibilities

Duties as a Level 3 Nursery Assistant:
