Job summary

Aspire People is recruiting a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a Rochdale nursery on a full-time basis. The role supports 2-year-olds in a nurturing environment, working closely with staff to foster social, emotional and educational development.

Based in a dedicated nursery site, you will assist with activities, observe and support early learning, and help maintain a safe, engaging space for children and families from the local community.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Teaching Assistance, Childcare or Early Years.
• Experience working with young children in nursery or early years setting.
• Willingness to provide personal care.
• Fluent spoken and written English; eligible to work in the UK.
• Willingness to complete safeguarding and recruitment checks.

Level 3 Teaching Assistant (Nursery)

Location: Rochdale Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, School Hours Start Date: ASAP Pay: Competitive, dependent on experience.

Aspire People is working in partnership with a large and well-established primary school in Rochdale to recruit a Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join its nursery provision on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be based within the school's dedicated nursery site, supporting children in the 2-year-old provision. This is an excellent opportunity to join a nurturing early years environment where children are encouraged to become confident, happy and successful learners from the very beginning of their educational journey. The school prides itself on working closely with families and the wider community to ensure all children receive the best possible start in life.

This role will involve supporting the learning, development and wellbeing of children within the 2-year-old room. You will work closely with nursery staff to create a safe, engaging and stimulating environment that promotes children's social, emotional and educational development.

The successful candidate must be comfortable supporting children's personal care needs and understand the importance of delivering this support in a caring, respectful and age-appropriate manner.
