Job summary

Tradewind Recruitment is recruiting Level 3 Nursery Assistants for Sutton to support Nursery and EYFS learners. You will provide targeted 1:1 or small group support, help pupils access the curriculum and assist with lesson delivery in a nurturing setting.

The role emphasizes collaboration with teachers and SENCOs, creating an inclusive classroom and monitoring pupil progress. DBS check required or in process.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Recent experience in a UK primary school setting
• Experience supporting pupils with SEND, particularly 1:1 support
• Excellent communication, patience and adaptability
• Enthusiastic about supporting children's learning and development
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)

Responsibilities

• Provide targeted 1:1 or small group support for pupils in Nursery and EYFS
• Support pupils with mild to moderate SEND to access the curriculum
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Help create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment
• Work with teachers and support staff to monitor pupil progress and wellbeing
• Prepare learning resources and classroom activities
