Job summary

Supply Desk are seeking a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join a friendly early years team in the Watford area. This full-time role offers an opportunity to provide high-quality care and education for children aged 0–5.

You will plan age-appropriate activities, support development, observe progress, and work with parents and colleagues to promote a safe, nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Childcare qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience in nursery or early years setting is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one).

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, stimulating, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children aged 0–5.
• Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework.
• Support children’s learning, development, and wellbeing through play and purposeful activities.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Observe, assess, and record children’s progress and development.
• Support individual children’s needs and contribute to their learning journeys.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage children’s confidence, independence, and social skills.
• Ensure safeguarding, health & safety, and nursery policies are followed at all times.
• Assist with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.
• Work effectively as part of the nursery team to provide consistently high standards of care and education.

Supply Desk are seeking a caring, enthusiastic, and qualified Level 3 EYFS Practitioner to join a friendly and supportive early years team in Watford. As a Level 3 EYFS Practitioner, you will play an important role in supporting children’s development and wellbeing, delivering engaging learning opportunities, and helping to create a positive environment where every child can reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

• Full and relevant Level 3 Childcare qualification (Or equivalent)
• Previous experience working within a nursery or early years setting (Desirable)
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and safeguarding practices
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A positive, caring, and proactive attitude
• Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
