Hours: 30.83 hours per week, term time working 38 weeks per year

Start date: Monday 16th June or later, depending on the successful candidate’s availability

St Bernadette’s Catholic Primary School is seeking an outstanding Teaching Assistant to join its friendly and supportive team in a nurturing nursery for children aged 3 and over.

Responsibilities include:

• Understanding child development and the importance of positive childhood experiences
• Supporting and extending children's learning through play
• Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of children
• Supporting children with SEND
• Assisting with care routines such as toileting, handwashing, and changing
• Acting as a key worker, building trusting relationships with children and families, and contributing to observations and assessments
• Being proactive and responsive to the needs of children and staff
• Working outdoors comfortably in all weather conditions
