Job summary

Randstad Education is hiring a Level 3 Nursery Practitioner to join our team in Horley. You will support children aged 0-5, deliver EYFS-aligned activities and act as Key Person for a group, fostering development in a safe, warm environment.

Applicants must hold a full Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification, have EYFS nursery experience, and uphold safeguarding standards. An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one) is required.

Qualifications

• Full Level 3 Early Years / Childcare qualification.
• Experience working in an EYFS nursery setting.
• Excellent safeguarding knowledge and child protection procedures.
• Strong communication, teamwork and organisational skills.
• DBS check or willingness to obtain one before starting.

Responsibilities

• Act as a Key Person for a designated group of children and track their progress.
• Plan and deliver EYFS-aligned learning activities.
• Maintain high standards of safety, hygiene and safeguarding.
• Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues through clear communication.
• Support day-to-day nursery routines including meals, rest and outdoor play.
