Shooting Stars Nursery in Stourbridge is seeking a qualified Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for a fixed-term maternity cover. You will be a key person, support learning and development, and help children thrive in a safe, inclusive environment.

Join a supportive team with 40 hours per week and £14.10 per hour. This role offers funded training, clear progression across Midlands nurseries, and a commitment to high-quality childcare.

Qualifications

• Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification
• Experience in nursery/childcare setting
• Good knowledge of the EYFS
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting children's welfare

Responsabilités

• Act as a key person and build relationships with children and families
• Support learning, development and wellbeing through play
• Plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS
• Observe, assess and record children's progress
• Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Support communication, confidence and independence
• Work with parents and carers
• Follow safeguarding and nursery procedures
• Collaborate with colleagues to maintain high standards
