Job summary

Aspire People is partnering with private day nurseries around Stirchley to recruit Level 2 and Level 3 Nursery Practitioners. Roles offer both full-time and part-time hours in a supportive Early Years environment.

As part of a dedicated team, you will provide high-quality care, education, and support to children aged 0-5, following EYFS guidelines. The position emphasizes safeguarding, development, and family partnership.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare - essential.
• Previous experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting.
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
• A genuine passion for working with young children.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5.
• Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
• Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Recognise and support each child's individual needs, interests, and abilities.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, communication, and social skills.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Work effectively as part of a supportive Early Years team.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
