Job summary

Aspire People Limited is seeking qualified Nursery Practitioners for private day nurseries around Stirchley, Birmingham. Roles cover 0-5 years, with part-time and full-time opportunities to fit your availability and support children's learning.

You will join a dedicated Early Years team, provide high-quality care and development, and follow safeguarding and nursery policies. EYFS knowledge and a caring, patient approach are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years/Childcare essential.
• Experience in a nursery or Early Years setting preferred.
• Strong understanding of EYFS and child development.
• Genuine passion for working with young children.
• Caring, patient and positive approach with excellent communication.
• Able to work well in a team and be flexible.

Responsibilities

• Support children's learning, development, and wellbeing in line with the EYFS framework.
• Provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children aged 0-5.
• Plan and support engaging, age-appropriate activities that encourage learning through play.
• Promote children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development.
• Recognise and support each child's individual needs, interests, and abilities.
• Encourage children's confidence, independence, communication, and social skills.
• Build positive and professional relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
• Work effectively as part of a supportive Early Years team.
• Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and nursery policies at all times.
