Job summary

Sandfield Preschool invites applications for a Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship. The role is based in LE4 7RE and starts in September, with a 30-hour week spread over four days and shifts between 7:45am and 7:15pm. The apprentice will learn under guided supervision in a childcare setting.

The programme focuses on knowledge, skills and behaviours for early years work, including leading childcare provision and supporting pupil development in small groups or one-to-one settings.

Qualifications

• Enrolment in Level 3 Early Years Educator Apprenticeship.
• Ability to support learning activities for young children.
• Strong communication with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Assist in delivering learning activities with individuals or small groups of children.
• Support development of skills to aid children’s learning.
• Create learning resources and aid pupil supervision.
• Monitor and record pupil progress and communicate with the teacher.
• Follow school policies and complete tasks within apprenticeship framework.
