The apprenticeship runs for 18 months, with a typical schedule Monday to Friday, 8am to 6pm, and flexible half-day options (8am–1pm or 1pm–6pm) available.

Qualifications

• Aspiring candidate to gain Early Years Practitioner qualification.
• Willing to work 8am–6pm, Monday to Friday.
• Committed to safeguarding and to building relationships with children, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and early years education to children aged 0-5.
• Support children’s development through age-appropriate activities and play-based learning.
• Observe, assess, and document children's progress in line with EYFS framework.
• Plan and implement a curriculum that meets individual children’s needs.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Ensure children are safe and their well-being is a priority.
• Promote positive behaviour, social skills and emotional development.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in line with health and safety guidelines.
• Support daily routines including mealtimes, nappies, and naps.
• Participate in regular team meetings, training and professional development.
