Job summary

Lotus Home Care Limited in Leeds is seeking Health & Social Care Apprentices for a Level 3 apprenticeship, fully paid with training and progression toward the Level 3 Adult Care qualification. You will deliver person-centred care, help review care plans, and support families and professionals in clients’ homes.

Training lasts about 1 year 6 months with 5 positions available, rota discussed with the manager, and mileage reimbursement for travel.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths & English at grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs.
• Take part in creating and reviewing care plans.
• Support new staff shadowing you.
• Undergo training on rota systems.
• Administer or assist with medication where trained and authorised.
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals and external agencies.

What You'll Do

As a Health & Social Care Apprentice, you will be trained to be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, acting promptly to protect vulnerable individuals
• Travel between clients’ homes (mileage reimbursed)
• Attend training, workshops, and complete off-job learning for your apprenticeship

As a Level 3 apprentice, you will take on greater responsibility in providing and coordinating care. You will be working towards theLevel 3 Apprenticeship in Adult Care, preparing for senior roles such as Lead Care Worker or Supervisor.
