Job summary

Lotus Home Care Limited is recruiting Health & Social Care Apprentices for a Level 3 qualification. This full-time role includes training to gain a Level 3 adult care apprenticeship, with mileage reimbursed for travel between clients’ homes.

There are 5 positions available, lasting about 1 year 6 months, with a rota discussed with the manager. You will learn to deliver person-centred care, help create and review care plans, and support new staff while developing transferable skills for senior

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths and English at minimum grade A*-C/9-4.
• Care experience welcome but training is provided.
• Good communication and teamwork are essential for supporting clients.

Responsibilities

Lotus Home Care are looking for caring and reliable people to support Clients in their own homes. This is a full-time paid role with training included, giving you the chance to gain a recognised Level 3 qualification while building a rewarding career in care.

What You'll Do

As a Health & Social Care Apprentice, you will be trained to be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs
• Take an active role in creating and reviewing care plans
• You will support the new staff shadowing you
• Undergo training on our rota systems
• Administer or assist with medication (where trained and authorised)
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
• Record, monitor, and report on health and well-being
• Support individuals with complex needs such as dementia, learning disabilities, or physical impairments
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, acting promptly to protect vulnerable individuals
• Travel between clients’ homes (mileage reimbursed)
• Attend training, workshops, and complete off-job learning for your apprenticeship

As a Level 3 apprentice, you will take on greater responsibility in providing and coordinating care. You will be working towards theLevel 3 Apprenticeship in Adult Care, preparing for senior roles such as Lead Care Worker or Supervisor.
