Job summary

Lotus Home Care is seeking caring and reliable people to support clients in their own homes. This is a full-time paid Health & Social Care Apprentice role with training included, giving you the chance to gain a recognised Level 2 qualification while building a rewarding career in care.

Working 7 days a week, rota to be discussed with the manager, the apprenticeship lasts 1 year 6 months. There are 5 positions available.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and English (A*-C/9-4) desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs
  • Administer or assist with medication (where trained and authorised)
  • Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
  • Record, monitor, and report on health and well-being
  • Support individuals with dementia, learning disabilities, or physical impairments
  • Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, acting promptly to protect vulnerable individuals
  • Travel between clients’ homes (mileage reimbursed)
  • Attend training, workshops, and complete off-job learning for your apprenticeship

What You'll Do
