Job summary

Queen Elizabeth’s Grammar School is seeking a caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support students with special educational needs. You will work with the SENCO and teachers to adapt activities, promote inclusion and monitor progress across lessons and activities.

You will assist in exams, educational visits, lunchtime activities and transport arrangements, and contribute to reviews and parent communications. A supportive, inclusive environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting students with special educational needs (SEN).
• Ability to differentiate learning activities across subjects.
• Commitment to promoting inclusion, independence and equality.

Responsibilities

• Support students in lessons, examinations and educational visits.
• Assist with lunchtime activities and transport arrangements as needed.
• Contribute to reviews, meetings and parent/carer communications.
• Work closely with the SENCO and class teachers to monitor progress.
