Job summary

Supply Desk is assisting a friendly SL1 Primary / SEN school in Slough to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant. This full-time role supports pupils across the classroom, including those with additional needs, in a nurturing environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 TA qualification (or equivalent) required.
• Experience with children in schools, nurseries, or care settings preferred.
• DBS check (Update Service) or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups.
• Assist the teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
• Promote pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Help adapt learning materials to individual needs.
• Support the implementation of IEPs and behaviour strategies.
• Create a positive, safe, and inclusive learning environment.
• Encourage confidence, independence, and engagement.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and SEN support teams.
