Job summary

Norham St Ceolwulf's invites applications for a proactive Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work across the school, supporting learning for all children, including those with SEND. You will contribute to an inclusive ethos and help deliver phonics and early interventions.

The successful candidate will have strong literacy and numeracy, excellent English, and thrive in a collaborative environment with families and professionals, ensuring pupil wellbeing.

Qualifications

• Strong behaviour management and communication skills.
• Experience working with children/young people; TA qualification advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across the school and for pupils including those with SEND.
• Implement work programmes (phonics and early interventions) with individuals or groups.
• Deliver learning activities for individuals, groups or classes and monitor progress and report outcomes.
• Encourage pupils to interact and work cooperatively with others.
• Put children’s safety and wellbeing first and be actively involved in school life.
