Supply Desk is partnering with a friendly Uxbridge primary/SEN school to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant on a full-time basis. You will support pupils across the classroom, including those with additional needs, helping them engage and thrive.

The role suits candidates with Level 2 TA qualification and experience with children. You will work closely with the class teacher, implement IEPs, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Experience working with children (school, nursery, or care setting)
• Genuine passion for supporting young learners
• Patient, positive, and adaptable approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)

Responsibilities

• Support pupils 1:1 and in small groups
• Assist the teacher with lesson delivery and classroom activities
• Promote pupils' social, emotional, and behavioural development
• Help adapt learning materials to individual needs

The Role

As a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils across the classroom, including those with additional needs such as ASD, ADHD, and SEMH. You will work closely with the class teacher to ensure pupils feel supported, engaged, and able to thrive.
