Job summary

Stratford upon Avon School in Stratford-upon-Avon, Warwickshire, seeks a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide both academic and emotional support for identified students across the curriculum. You will work under the SEN Coordinators, forming trusting relationships and acting as a dedicated Key worker to support learning.

The role is based in brand new SEN facilities with 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per annum, Monday–Friday term time plus five staff learning days.

Qualifications

• Supports identified students across curriculum areas.
• Provides academic and emotional support during the school day.
• Works with SEN Coordinators and acts as a Key worker.

Responsibilities

• Support learning in classroom and social times.
• Form positive relationships with students and staff.
• Assist in planning and delivering activities with SEN Team.
