Job summary

Woodlands School is seeking a SEN Teaching Assistant Level 2 to join our support team. The role is 28.92 hours per week during term time, with shift patterns across the school day, supporting pupils with complex needs.

The successful candidate will assist with pupil learning, personal care where required, and work under the guidance of teaching staff to help pupils make progress in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children with additional learning needs within a school setting.
• Ability to form positive relationships with children and families.
• Willingness to work across the age/needs range and assist in personal care.

Responsibilities

• Support learning across the age and needs range of the school.
• Assist in the general care and welfare of pupils, including personal care.
• Work under the direction of class leads.
