St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for SEND at Tibberton CE Primary School in Telford. The role is permanent, term time only, 31.25 hours per week, and starts 2 November 2026.

The post sits at Grade 3 / Spine Point 5-6 with a full-time equivalent salary of £26,428–£26,846. The successful candidate will support pupils with SEND, work with staff and external agencies, maintain safeguarding, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Level 2 Teaching Assistant - SEND at our wonderful setting of Tibberton CE Primary School.

We are seeking a caring, dedicated, and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to provide support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Key Responsibilities:

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff, the SENDCo, and external agencies.
• Monitor and record progress, providing feedback to teachers and relevant staff.
• Support the safeguarding and welfare of pupils at all times.

The Successful Candidate Will:

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Have experience of working with children with SEND, either in a school or similar setting.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Be patient, nurturing, and adaptable.
• Have a good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
• Be committed to inclusion and ensuring the best outcomes for all children.
• Be able to work effectively as part of a team while using their own initiative.
