Job summary

St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant for SEND at Tibberton CE Primary School in Telford. The role is permanent, term time only, 31.25 hours per week, and starts 2 November 2026.

The post sits at Grade 3 / Spine Point 5-6 with a full-time equivalent salary of £26,428–£26,846. The successful candidate will support pupils with SEND, work with staff and external agencies, maintain safeguarding, and contribute to an inclusive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Hold a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
• Experience of working with children with SEND in school or similar setting.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Patient, nurturing, adaptable and committed to inclusion and safeguarding.

Responsibilities

• Promote positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies.
• Collaborate with teaching staff, the SENDCo, and external agencies.
• Monitor and record progress, provide feedback to staff.
• Support safeguarding and pupil welfare at all times.
