St Bartholomew's CE Multi Academy Trust seeks an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a child with special educational needs at Gnosall St Lawrence CE Primary Academy.

Based at Gnosall St Lawrence, the post is fixed term, term-time only (20 hours per week), with a Grade 3 spine point and an annual salary of £25,185–£25,989 (FTE).

What are we looking for:

St Bartholomew's CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking to appoint an experienced, enthusiastic and committed Level 2 Teaching Assistant,to support a child with special educational needs within EYFS. The successful candidate will be based at Gnosall St Lawrence CE Primary Academy.

We are looking for a child-centred practitioner with:

• Experience of working with children who have a wide variety of educational needs.
• Experience of working with children who exhibit challenging and complex behaviours, and an understanding of child development and learning.
• Experience of working with children with communication, severe, profound or complex learning difficulties is highly desirable.
• Experience of working with children with special educational needs.
• Ability to support children with specific educational needs.
• Experience of supporting children in literacy and numeracy.
• Experience of how to motivate children.
• Proven successful experience of supporting the raising of standards in school.
• Wide experience of working with children, including those with special needs and the most able children.
• Experience of supporting the personal care needs of children.
• Proven experience of a range of positive behaviour management strategies.
• The ability to support, lead and inspire children.
• High expectations of children and a commitment to raising standards.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
