Job summary

St Bartholomew’s CE Multi Academy Trust is seeking a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to provide PPA cover at Gnosall St Lawrence CE Primary Academy. Temporary cover until January 2027 or when the staff member returns, term-time only.

The ideal candidate will have experience in a similar role, be able to deliver activities set by teachers, monitor progress, mark work, and report on pupils’ achievements.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar HLTA role.
• Ability to deliver learning activities as set by the teacher.
• Ability to monitor students’ progress and provide feedback.
• Ability to mark work and assess pupil progress.
• Record and report on pupils’ achievements to teaching staff and maintain records.

The Trustees are seeking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA).

Gnosall St Lawrence C.E. Primary Academy is a warm, welcoming and community-minded school situated on the outskirts of Staffordshire. Under the supervision of the teachers, we are looking to appoint an experienced HLTA to provide PPA cover.

The ideal candidate will:

• Record and report on pupils’ achievements to teaching staff;
