Job summary

Academics is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join an early years team in Orford, Warrington. This temporary role supports teachers, helps pupils develop confidence, and fosters independence.

Ideal candidates will have NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning, at least 2 years of experience with children, and strong literacy/numeracy skills. You will work collaboratively within a classroom team and contribute to observations and assessments.

Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in Supporting Teaching and Learning.
  • At least 2 years' experience working with children, ideally in an early years or primary setting.
  • A positive approach to behaviour, learning and development.
  • The ability to work collaboratively as part of a classroom team.
  • Good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Experience supporting children with different learning needs.

Are you a passionate Level 2 Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity?

We're recruiting for Teaching Assistants to join an early years team in Orford, Warrington. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys helping young children learn, grow in confidence and develop their independence.

The Role

Working alongside class teachers and the wider early years team, you'll help create a positive, nurturing environment where every child can thrive.

You'll be responsible for:

  • Supporting individuals and small groups with learning activities.
