Pentre Voluntary Controlled School in Wales is seeking a Level 2 Teaching Assistant to support a class of pupils in Years 3–6. You will work with the class teacher to deliver the Curriculum for Wales and provide targeted literacy and numeracy support.
There may be opportunities for PPA cover in both infant and junior classes for two sessions per week. You will work in a supportive team, delivering small-step targets and helping pupils to thrive in a caring environment.

There may also be the opportunity for a suitably qualified candidate to provide PPA cover in both infant and junior classes for 2 sessions a week.

Pentre school is part of the Dee Valley Federation of schools which from September includes Garth CP and Pentre School. The Federation was formed in January 2014. Each school has its own unique identity and works closely with the other schools in the Federation. There is one headteacher across the two schools and two Assistant Headteachers, on site in each school.
