TeacherActive is recruiting a Welsh-speaking Level 3 Teaching Assistant for a Welsh-medium primary school in Tredegar, starting in October on a long-term, full-time basis.

You will support children in the nursery with ALN, assist with personal care where needed, and run activities through Welsh as part of a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification.
• Fluent Welsh language skills and ability to communicate through Welsh.
• Experience in Early Years or Nursery setting.
• Experience supporting children with ALN.
• Caring and compassionate approach including helping with personal care.

Salary: £85.50 to £95.00 per day

TeacherActive is proud to be working with a welcoming Welsh-medium mainstream primary school in Tredegar that is looking to appoint a dedicated Welsh Speaking Level 3 Teaching Assistant. The school prides itself on its supportive staff team and inclusive ethos, creating a positive environment where both pupils and staff are encouraged to succeed.

The school is looking to appoint a full-time Welsh Speaking Level 3 Teaching Assistant from October on a long-term basis. The successful Welsh Speaking Level 3 Teaching Assistant will be supporting children within the nursery class, working closely with pupils with ALN, providing tailored support, assisting with learning activities through the medium of Welsh and carrying out aspects of personal care where required.

The successful Welsh Speaking Level 3 Teaching Assistant will have:

• Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
• Fluent Welsh language skills, with the ability to communicate confidently through the medium of Welsh
• Experience working within an Early Years or Nursery setting
• Experience supporting children with ALN
• A caring and compassionate approach, including assisting with personal care
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
