Job summary

Integra Education (North) LTD is recruiting Teaching Assistants to support schools across Warrington and surrounding areas. The role involves 1:1 or small group support for pupils with SEMH/SEND and behavioural needs, under the guidance of the class teacher.

You will help monitor progress, reinforce lessons, and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment. This is a temporary, term-time role with a daily rate of £110.

Qualifications

• Level 2 or above in supporting teaching and learning.
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
• Experience supporting pupils with SEMH, SEND or additional learning needs.
• Confidence in behaviour management and de-escalation techniques.
• A proactive, patient and compassionate approach.
• Good IT skills and excellent communication skills.
• A commitment to ongoing professional development.

Responsibilities

• Provide dedicated 1:1 support or work with small groups of pupils.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with children and young people with Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), and complex behavioural needs.

The Role

As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting pupils both inside and outside the classroom. Your responsibilities will include:

What We're Looking For

We're looking for candidates who have:

• Level 2 or above in supporting teaching and learning
• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar educational support role.
